Z was a cancelled zombie survival game that Rockstar North began developing after the release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Set on a Scottish island, it repurposed code from Vice City and was in production for around one month before the concept lost traction at the studio. A former developer described the project as feeling too 'depressing'.
