Star Trek: Encounters

An arcade shoot 'em up featuring ships and characters from all five Star Trek TV series across self-contained storylines.

PlayStation 2

Star Trek: Encounters is a 2006 arcade shoot 'em up developed by 4J Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game spans all five Star Trek television series — The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise — each with its own self-contained campaign mission set. Players pilot iconic starships in top-down space combat, with Skirmish modes including Head-to-Head, Battlefest, and the endless Onslaught wave mode. It received mixed reviews, with critics noting the gameplay felt more like radio-controlled cars than a true Star Trek experience.
