Chris Sawyer is one of the most celebrated solo game developers of all time. Working largely alone and writing his games almost entirely in x86 assembly language, he created Transport Tycoon (1994), RollerCoaster Tycoon (1999), RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 (2002), and Chris Sawyer's Locomotion (2004). His games have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide and spawned beloved franchises that continue to this day. RollerCoaster Tycoon in particular is widely regarded as one of the greatest management simulation games ever made.
